Making Lotus Leaf Wraps (Lo Mai Gai) A.K.A. Sticky Rice

We signed up for a lesson in making lotus leaf wraps, which is something you can buy off the streets here or order for dim sum.

It's mainly made up of glutinous rice (sticky rice) and assorted ingredients from pork, chicken to dried mushrooms, etc.

You grab a few lotus leaves, fold, fill with glutinous rice (sticky rice) and your ingredients. and tie it super tight with string or in our case stems (that's what they told me at least).

Then steam and enjoy!
